In particular, it is obligatory to attend and successfully examine 7 theoretical and laboratory courses of the first and second semesters of Programme (1 to 5 compulsory and the other 2 of the 6 to 10 elective courses).

1. Inorganic Synthesis and Analysis.

2. Inorganic Structure and Reactivity.

3. Topics of Inorganic Chemistry.

4. Contemporary spectroscopic methods and methods of determination and analysis. - Laboratory course.

5. Literature survey and oral presentation on the research topic of the thesis. Research methodology.

6. Photochemistry and Photocatalysis - Applications in Energy and Environmental Protection.

7. Inorganic Complexes and Nanomaterials. Applications as Medicines, Cosmetics and Diagnostic Materials.

8. Magnetic and Optical materials for storing information.

9. Inorganic Chemical Technology and Entrepreneurship.

10. Computational Chemistry - Simulation of material properties of technological interest.

The diploma thesis is carried out in the 3rd semester of studies and is credited with 30 ECTS.

There is the possibility of practicing during the summer months in industries corresponding to the subject of their diploma work to acquire the required practical experience, under the supervision / cooperation of the Supervising Member of the Faculty.

The theoretical and practical knowledge is supplemented by attend of Summer schools and Seminars organized by the Postgraduate Programme.
